Panthers finish Season with 28-14 loss to Burns

What more can you ask for in a third round playoff game as the Panthers went toe to toe with the Burns Bulldogs. Franklin allowed the Bulldogs t go up 20-0 before Jeb Brewer threw a reverse option pass to Parrish Young to bring the game to 210-7 at the half. Franklin made some halftime adjustment and was able to move the ball in the second half, but several mistakes and big plays by the Burns Defense would prove too much in the end Burns would mount a long drive that would put them up 28-7, but the Panthers added a score on a Jacob Young run to bring the game to a 28-14 final. You could say it was not the end that we desired for this team but 13-1 is nothing to be ashamed of ever. Burns was beaten the next week by West Rowan. West Rowan was beaten in the State Championship game by Havelock.
